Now here's the thing... I have lived a long life already and met some of my most favorite authors who definitely make my top ten list, but they're going on the list again for reasons. You know... I just need them on here again because the first or even second meeting was not what it should've been or enough to satisfy being able to bask in their awesomeness. Also, I stuck with authors that fall mostly in YA/Fantasy or that I associate with the YA/Fantasy grouping because those are the books I most remember them by. 1) Terry Pratchett           Sadly, the first person who made my list and who I have actually waved to from up above but never actually met face-to-face other than being a nameless face in a multitude of others gawping at him is no longer here for me to meet. A little bit of my heart, my happiness and hope died a bit when he did. He was one of the most influential authors for me and affected me in a profound way during a time when I really needed ...

You know you're a little bit funny when you read a title like the one selected for this week's Top Ten List and everyone seems confused about it, but you. Oh, there are so many characters that I have wondered, just what are you doing now. Nevermind that they are fictional. You can pretend along with me, right? I am not the only on this planet who imagines forgets  their favorite people aren't really living, breathing. That didn't sound so creepy in my head as it does reading outloud. Oops. Thanks The Broke and The Bookish for giving me a list that makes me look like I cannot delineate reality from fiction. Wanna meet some of the best people that exist only inside the pages of a book? (Here ya go.) Also beware of SPOILERS because uhm... yeah... these blurbs are what I hope is happening now that these books have ended. 1) Eleanor & Park If I were to check in on these two... I'd say that these two are still madly in love and have a small house togethe...

Oh-my-GOSH! Okay, so this book, huge as it is, was not enough! I could have read more... so much more and while I try not to be pushy and be that person who begs for a sequel, I am sending up prayers to the book gods that this book does not remain stand alone. Too many characters in this story earned the right to be fleshed out and oh the cliffhanger of an ending while certainly satisfactory lends itself to further plotting. Even Sabaa Tahir, the author agrees that she could and would love to write more.
