"Waiting On" Wednesday #12: Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas

Have you all read the first three books in this series? Or picked up the anthology of stories?!

This fourth novel will be the death of us... am I right?!

If you haven't checked out this series, go over to the fansite HERE. These first three books are so worth reading... binge reading! Lately I feel like all I've done is recommend series that aren't finished. I'm sorry all of you who like closure, but you really don't want to miss out on these.

DETAILS:
  • Title: Queen of Shadows
  • Publisher: Bloomsbury USA Children's
  • Publishing date: September 1, 2015
  • Author(s): Sarah J. Maas
  • Series: Throne of Glass #4

Wanna see the UK cover too?!

Do you like one better than the other?

SUMMARY:
Everyone Celaena Sardothien loves has been taken from her. But she's at last returned to the empire—for vengeance, to rescue her once-glorious kingdom, and to confront the shadows of her past . . .

She will fight for her cousin, a warrior prepared to die just to see her again. She will fight for her friend, a young man trapped in an unspeakable prison. And she will fight for her people, enslaved to a brutal king and awaiting their lost queen's triumphant return.

Celaena’s epic journey has captured the hearts and imaginations of millions across the globe. This fourth volume will hold readers rapt as Celaena’s story builds to a passionate, agonizing crescendo that might just shatter her world.

As always thanks to Breaking the Spine for hosting.

    1. Throne of Glass series is a really good read. Hope you get to it soon. Of course, a lot of people wait until a series is over before starting so I understand completely on waiting.

  4. Yesss! I can't wait for Queen of Shadows any longer, I need it! Especially now when I'm rereading the series as to prepare myself for QoS's release :) I myself prefer the UK versions, just because I'm used to those ones. The US versions have more spunk to them though :)

    1. Having read them all in a row makes it even harder of a wait. So much goodness and you don't want it to end. I waffle between which cover I like better. The UK one has more detailed look at the character but then the colors stand out on the American. It's hard to choose. Happy Reading! :)
