There are so many Sherlock Holmes pastiches coming out. Every which way you like him -- seriously dramatic , YA, comedy, homage and mystery. A Study in Charlotte goes the YA route and it is probably the second most wanted ARC in this house behind only Beastly Bones (which I have yet to get approval for from Netgalley)!

      I think it will be really good. How Sherlockian it will feel, probably not so much, but I just love how often Sherlock is showing up now in YA and books in general.

    I see you're another Sherlock Holmes fan, like me!! WOOT, WOOT!! This is a clever way of carrying on the Holmes legacy! And how interesting that it's a female descendant of the great sleuth who has inherited his gifts.....and she teams up with a male descendant of Watson (elementary, I say.....) to solve a mystery.....I never heard of this book before, but now I WANT it. Thanks for featuring it!!

    YES!!! this one sounds so amazing, I'd seen it a couple weeks ago and immediately added it to my TBR list. I love Sherlock Holmes in every medium, so I'm really really excited to see it in YA. Hope you like it!

    Hmmm... this is the first I've heard of this one. It does sound interesting though! I'm not usually a fan of mystery but I've found a few that I've really enjoyed! I might have to give this one a closer look!

    I've been looking forward to this one as well! It's so nice to see the Sherlock Holmes trope gender-reversed and I hope it lives up to expectations.

#TopTenTuesday: Ten Authors I Read the Most

Thanks to the  Broke and the Bookish  for hosting. So I am pretty pleased with this list. Unsurprising is how many of these authors are series creators. Really, yeah... I have a tendency to read all the books in a series whether I like the later books or not.
